Hi! I am from Boulder, Colorado and am currently a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Economics with minors in Psychology and Business. Growing up, my family and I were constantly moving around the world. While I was very fortunate to live in and travel to many foreign countries, my full Thai mother, made sure that my siblings and I appreciated and counted our blessings. When we moved back to America, I was struck by how differently people live their lives and sometimes take things for granted. My mother grew up in a village with one telephone pole. It was only due to her inner strength and grit that she was able to pave her own way and use education to get out of extreme poverty. Without education, she would be living a completely different life. She has instilled in me how valuable education is and how important it is as humans to help those in need…I cannot wait to help Feed2Succeed do the same for many more kiddos!!!
Hi! I’m from Garden City, New York and am currently a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics with a minor in Business. As a business minor and a math major I have a good sense of numbers and will facilitate the financial side of Feed2Succeed. In high school, I co-founded a political club where I stood as the treasurer, and therefore, while it was most likely less complex, I have some experience managing this side of a club. I hope to add as much value to this chapter of Feed2Succeed as possible and to help raise as much money as we can for the kids.
I am a current Junior at Vanderbilt studying political science, with minors in business, psychology, and Spanish. I recently moved to Miami, Florida from the Connecticut area! On campus (outside of Feed2Succeed), I am the President of Vanderbilt College Republicans, a VUceptor, and serve on the Executive Board of Kappa Alpha Order. As I am currently studying for my LSATs in preparation to apply to law school, I hope to add to the group as VP of Risk Management, helping with legal compliance. My interest in charity work abroad stems from my previous service in high school with Simply Smiles Inc., with whom I travelled to Oaxaca, Mexico to help organize medicine and food distribution drives.
My name is Lane Hirsch and I am currently a junior pursuing a double major in HOD and Spanish and a minor in Business at Vanderbilt. I love running and exploring the Nashville scene in my free time and am very involved in the AKPsi Business Fraternity on campus as well as my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. I’m very passionate about health and nutrition and that is part of the reason that I value Feed2Succeed’s mission of supplying malnourished children in the Philippines with nutritious foods. It is a great organization that seeks to aid an underserved area and I’ve learned a lot through the program about social problems in the Philippines as well as how to structure and run a business. Feed2Succeed has truly expanded my perspectives and I feel so fortunate to be apart of such an important initiative

Hi! I was born and raised in Northbrook, Illinois. I am a Junior majoring in Human and Organizational Development on the Health and Human Services track. I am also on the pre-med track and hope to pursue a career as an OB-GYN. F2S is something I am very passionate about. It stems from my passion of helping those in need, and the importance of the mental and physical development of children through education and proper nutrition. My goal for F2S is to expand the organization’s presence on more college campuses across the nation.
